NC A&T Alumni - Baltimore Chapter
Every academic year, the Baltimore Chapter offers at least one scholarship to a deserving incoming freshman or current/transfer student. We encourage all who fit the criterion to apply in hopes that we can provide some financial assistance for your experience. Applications must be postmarked no later than midnight April 30th, 2017. Notification of status will be sent no later than May 15th, 2017. If there are any questions about any of the application or process, please send an email to balt.ncatalumni.scholar@gmail.com. Please select the appropriate application at the bottom of this page based on the following the criterion for each applicant below:

 Incoming Freshman
1. Meet the requirements for admission to NC A&T State University. You must include either a copy of your acceptance letter or a copy of the letter acknowledging receipt of your application.

2.
Have an accumulated Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.85 or better on a 4.0 scale in your senior year. Must have scored 950 or higher on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or Scored 20 or higher on the Admissions College Test (ACT).

3. Applicant’s address or parent’s address should be located in the Baltimore region. This region is defined as Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Hartford County and Howard County.
 Current/Transfer
1. Be a student in good standing at North Carolina A&T State University or have been accepted as a transfer student to A&T. Transfer students must include a copy of acceptance letter.

2. Have a cumulative (through the most recent semester) Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale.

3. Have not previously been awarded the Baltimore Chapter Alumni Scholarship.

4. Applicant’s address or parent’s address should be located in the Baltimore region. This region is defined as Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Hartford County and Howard County.
