Scholarship

Every academic year, the Baltimore Alumni Chapter of North Carolina A&T State University offers at least one $1,500 scholarship to a deserving incoming freshman or current/transfer student from our local area. We encourage all who fit the following criteria to apply in hopes that we can provide some financial assistance for your experience.

 

CRITERIA FOR INCOMING FRESHMAN

• Meet university requirements for admission by submitting your acceptance letter or application submission confirmation

• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or more on a 4.0 (unweighted) scale in your senior year

• Permanent or parent’s address in the Baltimore area which includes Anne Arundel, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll, Harford, or Howard counties

 

CRITERIA FOR CURRENT/TRANSFER STUDENT

• Be a current student in good standing or a transfer student with a verified acceptance letter

• Most recent semester GPA of 2.85 or more on a 4.0 scale 

• Have not previously been awarded a Baltimore Alumni Chapter of NC A&T SU scholarship

• Permanent or parent’s address in the Baltimore area which includes Anne Arundel, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll, Harford, or Howard counties

 

HOW TO APPLY

By April 21, 2023, submit the online application. Late applications will not be considered.

*Upon proof of scholarship award, an official transcript must be submitted from your current school to the Baltimore Chapter of NC A&T State University, Scholarship Committee.
